Still the best app I have found to read my saved pocket articles to me. Works nicely with a Bluetooth headset.

No way to start it with the new Ivona voice I bought: Brian UK English. It crashes immediatly ! The same with the french Mathieu voice from Ivona !

Just because it works so well. Its easy to load everything into it to be read. I truly appreciate the high quality voices. This app makes up for the fact that the built in text to speech functions are good but not great.

Great app - I use it daily to read articles I save to Pocket from readers like feed.ly, zite and Reeder. Its miles ahead of other text-to-speech apps and has a lot of excellent features that similar apps dont have. Its the best of its kind that Ive found. The developer is very responsive to feedback too. A few requests: 1) an updated look would be nice - the black bands across the top and bottom are tired and not really keeping with IOS7 design, 2) a few more font choices for the text, please and 3) please remove the way it syncs article deletion with Pocket -- I hate that deleting an article in voicedream deletes the same article in my Pocket account. Please allow us turn off that feature if you can. Its still a stellar app - very dependable.

I cannot say enough good things about this app!!! Awesome app!!! Yes, its a paid app - but worth every penny! Extensive options, easy to use organizational features, & wide range of supported file types + web browser = fab!!! Addition of Dyslexie font is a nice touch and compliments the amazing visual tracking features nicely. Customer support is prompt and helpful.

I have had this app for a long time and use it every day. If I need to read something for school or even just pleasure, I immediately turn to this app.

Use Voice Dream for all my course readings at university. Simple, easy to use and effective. Wide selection of high-quality voices. (That actually sound human.) Well supported. Brilliant aid for anyone with ADHD (me). Read along as you listen and comprehension and retention are greatly improved. It can even help with improving 2nd language skills — I listen and read some documents in French which is improving my comprehension of spoken French, improving my pronunciation of French and improving my reading comprehension.

Hello, Just would like to thank you for the wonderful app you are developing and in the same time to suggest few minor improvements which will have a great impact on the usability of the app: 1. When I listen a long text and scroll the text in the same time then it is very hard scroll back and find / position the reading pointer as the system is not tracking the pointer on the user screen while the text is scrolled which is OK, but it will be nice to have a option to locate the reading pointer at any time. 2. When the text is selected and highlighted I cannot extend the highlighted area, which is causing me to delete the original highlighted area in order to create new one and this takes time. 3. When I click over the highlighted area I am unable to copy the text as only the "Delete" and "Note" options are available.

This is by far the best tts app on a mobile device.

This app is convincing by reviews:( cant open a simple iBook with it and support team sees no concern or urgency in my problem. 10$ I wish had back, could at least give it to someone to read the book out loud. Warning to all buyers dont always believe reviews

Other than some minor inconveniences it is close to the perfect thing. The software cannot recognize the irregular case which is the majority in American English causing incorrect pronunciations such as "lead"and "lives" which have more than 1 meaning. Also high pitch voices tend to have a staccatoh on the first vowel of a word. As well, there is everything except an old persons voice available which has they most irregular pitch from low to high. but this is still definitely The best audio reader out there.

I use this app as another stage when proof reading my work. Its amazing what you miss, or what your brain corrects when reading, but when read aloud those mistakes are easy to catch. Great app, great tool.

By deleting the option to smart save from web pages, you have rendered the app nearly useless for me. I used to add web pages from a feed reader (Reeder) by copying the links and smart saving them from Voice Dreams web browser. Now it seems Id have to take the detour of opening the web pages in Safari and then adding them to Voice Dream through its new Safari add-on, which then presents me with yet another problem: the title isnt copied into the main body any longer, which means I cant listen to an array of news articles without wondering about the sudden change of topics. Add that, and make the add-on available not just for Safari, but for all apps (share function) and Ill be happy once again. The new app might have come with some improvements, but unfortunately I wont be able to use them. Listening to/reading about 50 articles a day is just too big of a hassle with the above mentioned detour. Like that I can just as well take the time and read the articles myself. Having just bought the app and an additional voice a few days ago, this is a major let down for me!

I really cant begin to say enough about this thing. There is no better app on the app store for accessing and reading content from an iOS device. The developers responsiveness and willingness to fix the small number of issues that come up are unparalleled. I have heard that for a braille reader, there are still a few bugs within the current version. So exporting the text to another app might be a smart idea. Other than that though, I have great success with this app, and the current version unlocks even more potential by allowing me to store my files on other cloud services.
